Finalist for Flickerfest and London Breeze Film Festival 2024, selected for St Kilda Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival, and ASE Ellie Awards for Best Editing of Open Content.
FINDING HOME has been created as an antidote to the over commercialisation of the sport of football.  A rich and pure human story doco short that celebrates the core joy and power the sport can bring, FINDING HOME combines live action and animation to create a meditative journey into the events of Youssef Mohammadi’s life that led him to find a place in the world where he could be accepted and free.

The eldest of 4 football loving brothers who were forced to flee their home country due to the atrocities of war, football was a key part of this journey, not only saving Youssef’s life, but now also being something he uses to help other people looking to find their place in the world too.

A Finalist for the Flickerfest International Film Festival and London Breeze Film Festivals and selected for the St Kilda Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival, and the ASE Ellie Awards for Best Editing of Open Content in 2024, the film will be airing on SBS in Aus/NZ in 2025
